Mekong Delta tour Saigon to Cambodia
SAIGON ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR (L)
Upon arrival, be welcomed by our guide and driver, transfer to Saigon center. Begin your tour of this fascinating city with a tour by walking along Dong Khoi Street formerly known as the Rue Catinat, the main shopping thoroughfare and heart of old colonial Saigon. Visit to the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Next, head out to Cho Lon (China Town) continue to visit Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda, build by the Cantonese congregation and dedicated to the heavenly goddess. Back to hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
SAIGON – MY THO – BEN TRE – TRA VINH (B/L/D)
8:00 am you will be picked up by our guide and then depart for My Tho Town in Tien Giang Province; dip into the beauty of rice fields along the way. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda which is the “must visit” site in Tien Giang. The pagoda is an ancient Southern gem with the combination of Asian and European architecture including Renaissance period and Romanesque style.
Next, arrive in My Tho, take a boat trip on Mekong River to visit farmer’s house and garden. View the fishing port, the traditional stilt houses and boat building workshops, and three islands including Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Tortoise. Also ride horse and carriage around villages to see the local life and taste tropical fruits and honey tea at bee-keeping farm; listen to traditional music and visit coconut candy manufacturer. After that, roam around villages to get deeper understanding of local life.
Continue your trip to Mekong Garden where you will immerse in the peace and beauty of the countryside. After check-in the bungalow, have a short bike ride or wander around the area surrounded by orchards, rice fields, canals and lines of coconut tree. After that have a cooking demonstration in which you can learn to make Vietnamese food.
MEKONG GARDEN – CAN THO (B/L)
Have breakfast in Mekong Garden, and then have bike tour around the village to immerse the beauty: channels, palms, rice fields…Visit mat manufactures and discover the local life and other types of handicraft of the locals in Mekong Delta. You can also help the locals with farming activities and see friendly, smiling and welcoming people. After having lunch, continue your trip to Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho and check in at the hotel. Visit Ong pagoda, ancient house of Binh Thuy – a colonial house. Have dinner and stay overnight in Can Tho.
CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CHAU DOC (B/L)

ou are going to visit Cai Rang floating market in the morning. The landscape is very beautiful: hundred sampans with full of rice, fruits and handicraft products…they are here to exchange their products. We will then visit the central market and explore the local activities. After leaving the market, we are going to visit a luxuriant orchard of Little Hien Farm and enjoy the fruit picked up by yourself. After lunch, continue to Chau Doc. On the way, visit the Bang Lang bird sanctuary for watching thousands of egrets, herons, cormorants back to the nest at sunset... Continue to Chau Doc. Dinner and overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY 05: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH BY BOAT (B/L)
Have breakfast at hotel before transferring to the pier to catch the hydrofoil at 8.00 am. Travel along the Mekong to see fishing villages of two countries Vietnam and Cambodia. Enjoy lunch on boat as well as view the beautiful river. Arrive in Phnom Penh, be welcomed by our guide and transfer to the center for hotel check in. Then visit the Royal Palace built in 1866, the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum built in 1917-1918 storing beautiful statues collection dedicated to Khmer Arts. Dinner and overnight at Phnom Penh
DAY 06: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the harbor to take the boat to Siem Reap. Enjoy lunch picnic on the boat (you can take the plane Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: about US $105/person). This beautiful cruise allows you to discover the schools, floating fishing villages; houses on stilts along the river. Upon arrival of Siem Reap, be picked up and depart to hotel and. Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 07: SIE
M REAP ARRIVAL – ROLOUS GROUP - ANGKOR WAT (B)
Upon arrival Siem Reap International Airport, you will be met our tour guide and driver and transfer to the hotel for check in. Start to exploring the early Angkor-era temples of the Roluos, the first city created by the kings of Cambodia inclusive of Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei temples. Afternoon, visit the Wonder of the World “Angkor Wat temple” which was built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is considered as a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 08: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM – BANTEAY SREY (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue visit the Angkor Thom by starting from South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous giant stone faces Bayon temple which was built in late 12th early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, Baphuon temple - the huge temple-mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Phimean Akas temple, and other two Leper King Terrace and Elephant Terrace which were built by King Jayavarman VII in 12th century. Afternoon, we visit to the small and charming Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of Women which is showcasing the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architecture. On the way back, we visit another temple – Banteay Samré. Drop at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 09: SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP LAKE – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your trip with traditional wooden boat at Tonle Sap Lake – the Great Lake of Cambodia and biggest in South-east Asia. Over there, you will have opportunity to learn and get experience about life on water in this floating village. Back to the city, leisure yourself at local markets or visit the Artisan D’Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carving before transfer to the airport for departure flight. End of services.
