Gradually, the urban landscape gives way to rice fields, coconut groves, and waterways — clear signs that you are entering a very different Mekong.

In the afternoon, visit iconic Khmer pagodas such as Ang Pagoda and Hang Pagoda, learning about Khmer architecture, beliefs, and spiritual life.
Enjoy a leisurely walk or cycling through rural villages, meeting local residents and experiencing a rare, unhurried pace of life.

In the evening, savor Tra Vinh’s local specialties: bun nuoc leo, banh tet with flattened green rice…

Day 2: Tra Vinh – Can Tho | River life and local traditions

After breakfast, depart for Can Tho.

At sunrise, dozens of boats gather to trade fruits, vegetables, and hot dishes, creating a vivid and unforgettable river scene.

Enjoy breakfast on board with noodle soup and Vietnamese coffee while observing daily trading activities and the unique rhythm of Mekong river life.

Return to the hotel for some rest and a late breakfast.
